Isn't she cute - her name is Gloria the Hippo, and I couldn't resist buying her - she is very apt after all the Christmas eating and drinking!!
I am entering her into two challenges this week.
The first is Passion for ProMarkers, which this week is Any colours and a Theme - the theme being Girls!, and my Gloria is definitely a girl!
The other challenge is Papertake Weekly, which is Pretty Pink Papertake. I just HAD to enter this one as Pink is my very favourite colour. Anything I can get in Pink, I do get in Pink!!

Been away this week (probably why I made the mistake over the challenge, trying to get it all done before I went!), but I took my stuff with me and managed to find time to make another card for the Cool Aqua and Cocoa challenge on Passion for ProMarkers.
Also, with doing it again, I have managed to fit it to the sketch on Papertake Weekly this week, so it was a happy accident after all!

I know that this strictly speaking isn't allowed, but...............

when I made this card last week it was with the intention of entering three challenges, the two I entered on my last posting, and the Passion for ProMarkers Cool Aqua and Cocoa challenge. What I didn't realise was that it didn't actually start until today, so I couldn't enter it until now.

So, please, please, even though I put it up for the other challenges last week, can I be allowed to enter it for this one? I promise to be more careful in future, honest!!!

Getting back into challenges!

Well, after all the disruption of Christmas and New Year, I am at last getting back into Blog Challenges.

This one is for two challenges, the first one is Passion For ProMarkers, which is a sketch and the theme of love.
The second one is Anyone for Anya, which this week is Anything Goes. These two are so cute!

Well, Christmas is over, and I am slowly getting into my blog challenges again. Well, actually, I did this before Christmas, but didn't put it up here because I was hoping to find time to do something else, but no such luck.

This is for the Passion for ProMarkers Mega Christmas Challenge - anything but a card.

For the challenge you could do anything at all, as long as it wasn't a card, and all I could think of was this shopping list! Must have been under the spell of Christmas shopping!

Finally found time in the hectic run-up to Christmas to do another challenge, just!

This one is for Mo Mannings Digital Pencil challenge, which this time is "Just White", but you are allowed to colour your image. Has to be a Mo Manning image, but that is no hardship, she has so many gorgeous digi stamps.
This one is called Christmas Fairy Holly, and she is beautiful!

Had a bad week this week.. things on my mind mainly my son.... he has been waiting to have a spinal operation .... he had it yesterday everything has gone well and is due to go home this afternoon... so can now get back to cardmaking and blog challenges...yipeeeeeeee !!!!

This card is for the Papertake Weekly Challenge. This week they asked for a Christmas Cracker so I took them literally!!
The card didn't have to actually be a cracker, just a christmas card, but I decided a cracker it was!!

Passion for ProMarkers Vintage

This card is for Passion for ProMarkers, which this week is Vintage.
I normally like to do Vintage, but struggled a bit with this one. I am still learning to use ProMarkers, and so far have only used them on "cute" images, so choosing an image for this one proved a bit difficult.
However, I love this stamp so I thought it was worth a go.

Off to Spain for the weekend, so I have been getting my challenges done.
This is the first one, and it is for Anyone for Anya, Make a Fake. They want to see anything fake on the card this week, and I have used a punched border as fake lace.

I am really getting into these challenges now (makes a difference when you win!), and couldn't resist the one on Crafty Cardmakers this week. It is called Clear as Day and all you have to do is use something transparent, e.g. acetate, clear jewels, etc.

This is my card. I have used a Sarah Kay stamp, and coloured it with ProMarkers (getting used to them now). Love the way the jeans have come out! For the transparent bit I put some acetate through my Wizard, using a cuttlebug folder, then wrapped it around the card and tied it with ribbon.

Three for the price of one!!

I had to make a card for my cousin's (older cousin!!) 70th birthday, so I decided to see if I could make a card to enter into a couple more challenges. (I have been bitten by the bug now I have won one!)

This is what I came up with. The challenges that it is for are Anyone for Anya - Get Round To It which requires an Anya (naturally) and anything round, e.g. spots, circles, etc., and the other one is the Papertake Weekly Challenge which this week is a sketch.

Just found out that I have won the Passion for ProMarkers Week 24 challenge - Grass and Canary. This is my winning card. Still can't believe it!!

Anyone for Anya 3-2-1 Challenge

Well, I must be getting better as I decided to enter this challenge, and made the card, before I got bullied into it by my friend Sue.

This week's challenge on Anyone for Anya is 3-2-1, It's Recipe Time, and I had to use 3 pieces of paper/card (not counting the card itself), 2 buttons and a bow. And, of course, Anya.

Well, I just had to do pink which is my favourite colour. Here is the card -

I have been dragged in, screaming and kicking, to two more challenges!

Here is my card -

The first challenge is Passion for ProMarkers Challenge - Colour Combo. The colours were Grass and Canary, and luckily I have those two colours in my meagre collection. I only started collecting ProMarkers on 10th October.

Crafty Cardmakers #7 Stamp Something

I enjoyed entering into the Crafty Cardmakers challenge last week (even if I didn't win), so I thought I would give it another go.

This week the challenge is Stamp Something meaning just what it says - stamp something! You can add another challenge to yourself, but just stamping something is probably challenge enough!!

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 6 - Autumn

My friend has bullied me into entering my first blog challenge, so I have decided the one to "cut my teeth" on is the Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 6 - Autumn.

I was really unsure what to do with this one, but I had a look through all my bits and bobs and came up with some autumn leaves backing paper, and a picture of some fungus. I added some ribbon, one with the word "Autumn" printed on it, and the other with a border of autumn leaves on to finish it off. Hope it is OK.
